Compliment

I only have one big thing to report for today. As I was being driven back to the station my colleague and I were discussing other languages and if I wanted to study something other than Japanese. I mentioned that maybe someday I would pick up something else, but that my Japanese wasn't quite strong enough yet for me to feel comfortable picking up something else. My colleague responded with the usual...oh no no, your Japanese is great. But then he continued on to say that of all my predecessors, he was most impressed with me when I first got here, saying that I had the best pronunciation of all previous CIRs (based on beginning not end). :)
