Fireworks

Tonight was the annual fireworks festival in Kameoka. I met Dara at Kameoka Station and we went to get Kim-Chi, JS, and Laurel who were dressing themselves in yukata for the event.



We decided to go to the backside of Kameoka Station to get a good view of the fireworks going off over the Hozu River.








After the fireworks ended we went and got fair food and shaved ice. While walking around the booths set up during the day Laurel and I were approached by this old drunk guy...

DG: Oooh Foreigners...American? American?
Us: Yes Americans.
DG: Oooh Goodo Moningu, chau, Goodo Ebeningu.
Us: Good Evening
DG: Picture! Let's take a picture! Hey, Wife! Come take a picture!

Then another drunk lady showed up and wanted pictures too. Step right up, come see the circus freaks (^_^)

Eventually we wound up at karaoke. It was my first time going to karaoke in Kameoka. It was good times. Laurel and Kim-chi are hilarious together.
